To non Professor Layton fans
Professor Layton is a series with a lot of puzzles and heartwarming stories but sometimes it can get pretty dark.

This is quite old but I never got to post this when I finished decorating my sketchbook.
For context, I decorated a sketchbook that a friend from school gifted me when I first got into Professor Layton back in March of this year. I recorded the process of myself making the drawings and pasting the printed photos onto the sketchbook and everything, i keep forgetting to to edit the video, it’s still sitting in Capcut as we speak 😭
This sketchbook was PACKED to the brim of Layton doodles and drawing in it brought me out of my art block that was lingering on my mind for like I believe months. Though while the sketchbook didn’t have many pages, I was just having a wonderful time doobling characters from my new obsession. Every now and again, I look back at the drawings I made and the scrapbook pages I crafted and I’m like: “wow, this was the most fun I’ve ever experienced.” In all honesty, I’m pretty glad that I got into the Layton fandom, it’s so underrated and yet it’s such a joy to be in, even though I’ve only been in it for a few months at this point. It’s still so cool and very fun!
Anyway, sappy dialogue out the way, Layton is very goated fandom :) I still have A LOT to catch up on the Layton lore before NWOS comes out. I hope I’ll be caught up before then ehehehhe 🤭
Hello, I’m still working on this AU don’t worry !
Right now I’m trying to fleshed out the characters and their roles in the story.
Here’s the first one I got : Luke and Marina Triton !
Luke is still a detective in my AU, working in the Layton Agency with Katrielle.
For Marina, I choose to make her a journalist, she's of great help when it comes to finding information for those investigations.

We soon arrive at the end of this cycle for the story where our character bounds with each other ! But what will come next ?...

I… hadn’t about that.
You see, that was my biggest problem making the poll: how do I make it specific enough to evoque a known scene/character without accidentally referencing others but also vague enough that I can describe it in an option and not bore the reader.
I did look up the definition of skyscraper when writing the options: it seems that it needs to be 10 stories high or more, so I’m afraid the Bell Tower wouldn’t count. ^^“

I’m now gonna take the liberty to rant about other possible answers to each option that I thought of. I’m sure there’s ton of them that I didn’t count, please if someone has a "well, technically this can also count”, add it, I’d love to hear it. Spoilers for basically everything below.
Didn’t see any posts about it so here it is for the other Photosensitive folks,
Nimona has a lot of flashing lights, no intense strobing (ie Incredibles) but includes:
Alarm sequences (red lights, ‘police’ lights), explosions and gunfire
Sparks/flashing/flickering lights, firelight
Thunderstorms and lightning effects,
Flashes from color to black (hard to describe)
All within the first few minutes of the movie, frequently throughout.
It wasn’t too terrible when I watched with other lights on during the day but I tried watching it with them off and it was pretty bad. Sharing this so other people can find it would be much appreciated!
